Thanks to Joe for the vid...
You say interpretive dance and I say eat shit and die.
I was wrong.
Check out this dance group from Hungary that performed on "Britain's got talent". They got me awhile ago with the sad sack that could sing his ass off. They got me again with a bunch of new age hippies that could tell a story by way of dance.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing that. I almost got misty there during the "dance". That was simple fantastic.
ReplyDeleteTo all those who don't get it....you never will.
ok. you said it so i can admit it. i did too! craziest thing ever. when i say that i usually think interpretive dance is bullshit i mean it, but this one hit me right between the eyes...and heart. powerful stuff without even saying a word.
DeleteNo doubt a wonderful display of talent and creativity.... but I'd rather watch "The Interview." I know, I'm shallow teen age boy at heart.
ReplyDeleteI love this group, their other acts on the show are good too if you search on youtube, I agree with everyone, its simple, creative, talented but its also clear they put a lot of hard work into this and somehow just grabs emotions, across cultural lines, very hard to do, but they did it!
