NOTE:  I like the LAV-25A2 and have no problem with the "survivability" upgrades pushed to the vehicles, but its facing the same issues as the AAV/ACV.  It still needs increased lethality, and the 30mm ATK cannon developed for the EFV is still available.  It wouldn't hurt to see improved flotation as another much needed improvement...you increase the utility of the LAV-25 if it can swim from ship to shore, and if the Spanish Marine Corps can swim the Piranha III then surely we can do the same.  The future of LAV Battalions in my opinion still means a move toward the ACV platform.
