Before I even start a rant about interoperability do you notice something off in this pic? Do you see the sailors NOT moving a certain piece of equipment under the jet blast from the engines to protect the deck? Yeah. This is great dog and pony but its not real. Don't take this as an insult to the crew of the LHD Juan Carlos. ITS NOT! It does make me ask the same question that no one seems to be able to answer. We're doing this "training" for what purpose? The Sea Base? Future HA/DR? Coalition warfare? I would love a simple, no bullshit explanation for this effort! While we're waiting enjoy the pics.
