Is the Japanese Type 10 the most advanced MBT in the Pacific?

Another conversation made me wonder.  Is the Japanese Type 10 the most advanced MBT in the Pacific?  The Korean K2 is nice but on paper at least (in my opinion) it doesn't quite match up.  The Australians run M1A1 Abrams, the Chinese have their Type 99, India has the Arjun and everyone else is running a version of the T-80, T-72 or maybe the T-90.

Seems like the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force might have the most powerful tank in the region.  Oh and before you ask, Singapore is either tied or a close number 2 with the Leopard 2A5!
