I'm not so sure that Mattis' skillsets match up with putting the bloated and dysfunctional machine that is the Pentagon in check, but I am a lone voice in thinking that.
The meme generators are in full effect and they're making this guy into an almost mythical figure.
No matter what he does and how he does it can he actually live up to expectations? I wonder. Do people actually have a list of things they'd like accomplished or will a few more tough guy quotes from the new SecDef be enough to satisfy the rabble? It really doesn't matter. Mattis fever is hitting triple digits.
