This thing keeps landing in my inbox and to be honest I don't know if this is a real concept or not. One of the many articles that has been given me is here. Turn on your Google Translate because its in Russian but I'm a bit intrigued.
At a glance its a 8x8 wheeled IFV packing the usual massive Russian firepower, but what has me wondering is that (if my translate is correct) they're expecting some pretty impressive water speeds! How? I'm not even close to being a hydrodynamic engineer but could side skirts really make that big a difference?
The overall shape is reminiscent of the EFV so maybe they've cracked the code. Time will tell.
