HMS Queen Elizabeth lands helicopters on her deck for the first time!!
The last pic gives a nice view of the size of these ships. They're freaking big! I know people have said that the second might act as a helicopter carrier (and it very well could in an emergency situation...think Falklands II), but even if that's the case it would be lovely! Can you imagine how many helos you can park on that deck? The Royal Navy will never do a study or release the figures if they have, but I would bet you're talking upwards of at least 75 helicopters of various types on this thing.
That would make an EXTREMELY potent landing force.
