Warhammer News. Thoreau helps us get to the crux of the N. Korea issue.

Henry David Thoreau is one of my favorite philosophers.  I especially love his thinking on life.

His "simplify, simplify, simplify" quote is particularly appealing and I believe breaks down the N. Korea issue quite nicely.

In short, we have two choices...
1.  We accept that RIGHT NOW N. Korea has weapons that can reach the US.
I distinctly get the impression that the Pentagon/Intel Agencies knew about this during the Obama admin and suppressed word of it but that makes no difference now. They have nuclear weapons that can fit on their ICBMs and those missiles can reach the mainland US.
2.  We decide that N. Korea having weapons that can threaten the US is unacceptable and we take steps to correct the situation.
Ya know what no one has been saying?  This is the first issue since 9/11 that is a clear and present danger to our nation.  Airplanes crashing into skyscrapers is a sideshow compared to what would happen if N. Korea launches on San Diego or Los Angeles. A fight would mean potentially hundreds of thousands killed.  A nuclear attack would mean millions.

But I digress.

Thoreau laid out how we should think about this issue.  Boiling it down we have two choices.  We accept it or we don't.  What do you guys think?
