Politics Talk. The more I look at this Judge Moore issue the more it looks like a hit job...

This is gonna be real short and quick.

I don't know if I'm a fan of Judge Moore from Alabama or not.  Quite honestly the guy sounds like a bit of a loon.  But even a loon shouldn't be a victim of a political hit job and this whole issue sounds like one.

Think about this.

The guy has been in the public eye for over 30 years.  He was once on the Supreme Court of Alabama.  He has been slammed for everything except sexual assault and now out of the blue we see all these allegations?

Maybe I'm being silly but it appears to me that if these allegations were out there then someone would have brought them forward long ago.

This has the fingerprints of both the Democrat and Republican establishment all over it.  It also has the news media being a willful idiot in pushing a story that was dropped in their lap. 

In summation this has the smell of coordination across political parties that should make us all sick.

Moore is hardly a saint.  I don't think that we would be drinking buddies in this life or the next but that doesn't mean that he should get thrown under the bus in a political hit job.  Especially one with these kinds of accusations.

Supposedly Breitbart is about to start digging into this.  They're just as slanted as the Washington Times but at least we'll get another perspective on this story.

The crazy thing?

What the Russians are accused of is SMALL beans compared to this. If my instincts are right then our very republic is being undermined from within. These are the kinds of games the Romans were involved in before they saw it all melt away (well sorta...they were a bit more honest and would at least let their enemies see them before they were killed).
