After winning the ACV contract, what did our engineers do next? They continued to innovate, constantly pushing this platform forward. This is the ACV weapons demonstrator |
The title was clickbait.
Marine Corps General Officers don't talk that way in public. But General Mullen did what no one else has the courage to do. He actually talked to me about the ACV program. I raised every question and objection to him that I've had on these pages. He answered them all. His confidence was quite honestly infectious. Dude has a rep for being an inspiring infantry officer for a reason.
At the end of the day, I got the strong impression that he was saying but not saying to "sit down and chill the fuck out...we got this".
I think they do.
BAE isn't going to push a weapons demonstrator unless they have a strong indication from the Corps that we're headed in that direction, if not a direct order.
At the end of the day I don't care how this came about. I just want it. Want it bad as in yesterday!~
Sidenote. Thanks to all the readers that sniffed this out before I saw this on Twitter. Good on you guys and way to share knowledge/info with the tribe!
