Another stern landing craft that a reader found. This concept has merit and I wonder why it hasn't been tried. Even better? These would make ideal ACV carriers to launch from far over the horizon, get about 1 or 2 or 3 miles from shore and conduct in-stream launches.
The only real question is whether you want to go with smaller options that can be carried aboard our Amphibious Ships inside the well deck or larger versions that can self deploy with the fleet (or be forward based).
