Veterans Day 2018....

I don't know the proper "greeting" for these holidays anymore.  I don't know if it's "happy", or "remember", or what.

I do know that if you're a Vet you have my admiration and respect. 

You did what the majority of Americans refused to do.

Don't get it twisted.  You'll have many say that they "wanted" to or that "except for x, y and z" they would have, but the reality is that when it came time to make a choice the people that call themselves Vets actually did that thing.

So for you guys this day is yours.

Just a suggestion.  Everyone will go out and grab a free meal somewhere.  I don't know how I feel about even that.  I remember reading a LONG time ago about a business practice called a Loss Leader.  That's where a business will seemingly give a freebie to a certain item (in this case individual) with the plan being that they will more than recoup the loss of that particular item with additional sales that would not have materialized if they had not run the sale.

Yeah I'm looking at those free meals for Vets that are all the rage this year.

My suggestion is to simply hangout with family and friends...chill out...enjoy the day...reflect...and to keep it moving.

Let me end with this.

I'm gonna run with Happy Veterans Day.  You guys actually did it for God and Country.  Well done.
