Yeah sports fans! This missile literally went from zero to Mach 10 in 5 seconds.
You wonder why I ask if the tech has stalled?
This was a 1960's era missile and it was able to achieve that type of blistering performance. Could we replicate that today? I seriously have to wonder. Additionally they did this with slide rule, not supercomputers.
If those bubbas back in the day had the computing power that I have in my phone to watch videos away from home imagine what they could have done with what we consider a simple entertainment tool!
Something is wrong but I can't put my finger on it. It seems like in the past we were able to do so much more with so much less.
I need to chew on this but its not encouraging.
