Tu-160's to Venezuela. Is this a big deal?

Quite honestly I heard about this a few days ago but registered it as no big deal.  Now its hitting main stream news and people seem alarmed?  

WHY!

From my chair this is just big boy super power games.  We have forces in Russia's and China's backyards then we should expect them to dip their toes in the waters of our own.

This isn't alarming, surprising and should come as no surprise.  This is how stuff is done.  If we can't handle this...or respond correctly then we should bring all our boys home and adopt a purely defensive position from our shores...since that won't happen then we roll with it!
