Why would the Secretary Of The Treasury call the nation's banks on a freaking Sunday?

What the hell is going on?

The markets are spooked by this behavior.  Preppers are asking questions.  What do we know?  Check this out from Offgrid Survival (quoting another article)...

“It’s going to raise the question of whether Treasury and Mnuchin know something the markets don’t,” said Brian Gardner, Washington research director at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, an investment banking firm. “Without clarifying further, it’s going to weigh on the markets.”

Don't want to pour salt on your Christmas preparations but you have to admit this is weird.
