Nice surprise. Quite honestly I thought GM Defense had been consigned to the dustbin of history but no, they're alive and well. Website here and story here.
Almost as a sidente I note the GM Defense Infantry Squad Vehicle.
For me (I've been a bit slacking due to schedule issues) its a shot out of the blue. I didn't even know they were working on a rig for the thing. Having said that it looks good. I'd like to see what kind of specs its running with and an uparmor package but all the offerings seem like they would be decent choices including this one so I really don't see how we can lose.
Is this a bid to reinvigorate our defense industry? Could we see the services operating all three vehicles on offer? Our is this a push to get the price point down by using the free market and competition?
I can't wait to find out.
