News release here. This is the new hotness. Auto mortars on high mobility vehicles. I hate following trends because most of the time they're just plain wrong. Not in this case. The USMC should have adopted Dragon Fire long ago but didn't. It's not too late to resurrect the system or develop a new that's adaptable to our current/projected force structure.
