We don't bunch up. But even if you're dispersed you still present a thermal signature. How do you fix that? We can't walk around in foil uniforms, so the solution is basic.
You kill the drone before the drone kills you (either by direct fire or registering your position to other shooters).
Unfortunately that's the rub isn't it.
Everything is oriented toward killing big drones or if its made to kill small ones then it will be after they've detected your forces.
We need a good medium weight/range option that can protect the force from small/med drones and kill them before they can locate our forces.
Now that leaves one last question.
Whose job is that? Air Arms or Ground Forces?
