If you weren't aware yet, nature is seriously effing scary. Who knew that there were snakes who could straight pull an animal out of the water when they get hungry? Does this make anyone else want to stay inside forever?
This snake is known as an olive python or a water python, and while it's not poisonous it is a seriously vicious monster. In all likelihood even if you come across one of these bad boys in the wild it's not going to attack you unless you get on its nerves. Olive pythons can grow to up to 16 feet long, unhinge their bottom jaw and swallow animals that are much larger than their circumference. It's genuinely upsetting that a monster like this can exist, but as long as you're not in the wilds of Australia you should be fine. Right? |
