Just plain wow.
The US Army can be expected to soon tailor the 25th ID as its main go to force for the Pacific. I am betting on a specially tailored Division Artillery that will be reinforced with additional MLRS, Anti-Ship Missiles and extended range cannon artillery.
An already airmobile formation will become "EVEN MORE" mobile with me guessing that we'll either see a 173rd Airborne type formation cobbled from it or one deployed (don't they have something like that in Alaska already?).
Now?
Now they're sending their conventional Special Forces type "force multiplier unit" to partner with allies in the region.
The Army Chief Of Staff is drinking the Commandant's milkshake.
