U.S. Marines attach a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle to a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter during hoist operations training

 

MARINE COPRS BASE, Hawaii (Aug. 23, 2021) - U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment attach a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle to a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 463 during hoist operations training on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, August 24, 2021. Hoist operations were conducted in order to train landing support specialist and pilots to transfer heavy equipment and supplies from one location to another. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
