Do the Dave Ramsey thing... save money, don't end up in a FEMA shelter.

Hey gents. I had the pleasure of working at a FEMA shelter for hurricane Ida. There were no problems, no issues, no knuckleheads, no crackheads/meth heads, etc. 

 The facility was clean, food was provided and things we're good to go. 

 But!! I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Despite it being clean, despite security being there it is not where you want to be. 

 Take it from someone who knows. Do  the Dave Ramsey thing. Save money for disaster. Save money so your family doesn't end up in the shelter. Do your preps while the sun is shining. We've all seen September 11th, hurricane Katrina, hurricane Ida, tornadoes, forest fires, unexpected deaths, hell even tsunamis. 

 When the call comes get the f*** out. Have a go bag for you and your family so that you can walk away in 30 minutes or less. You can rebuild your life. You can start back from zero. But you can't do it if you're dead you can't do it if you're not prepared.
