The fact that the Taliban haven't mounted a full on assault on this enclave tells me all I need to know. The CIA & SOCOM have their lilly pad to rescue trapped Americans and to deal with the Taliban long term. The war continues (my guess) but its just low key. Contractors, Spooks and Snake eaters ball/olympics/playground. Whatever you call it they're doing shit!
