Those 30 smaller amphibs better be fucking fantastic. But even worse. This basically CONFIRMS one foe, one region. Berger did what no enemy force has ever done. He's ripped the Marine Air-Ground Task Force apart and replaced it with something pathetic.

Note.  Berger said this and he was a man of his word...

Oh and if you're thinking that 30 smaller amphibs means LPDs...well I'm not so sure. 

The Department of the Navy, which the Corps is part of, currently plans to acquire 24 to 35 of the vessels, also known as LAWs, and procure the first platform in fiscal year 2023.

So yeah.  He gets his 30 LAWs but we don't know what happens to the LPDs.  My guess?  Either they get reclassed as support ships or they get sold to the Army or a foreign force. I mean we saw how fast they tossed tanks in the trash.
