I'm just spitballing here. I like the Oshkosh(ST Kinitics) offering as well as that from BAE. However I believed (and this is just me looking at both vehicles) that the Oshkosh offering was more combat oriented. Don't get me wrong. They're both arctic APCs and cargo carriers, I just thought that the ST Kinitics offering could more easily spec into a combat role.Behold Beowulf, The U.S. Army’s New Tracked Arctic Troop Carrierhttps://t.co/13uTz3Lx3j

So what was this selection about?
I believe its about our industrial base. I believe the Army (as well as the Marine Corps) is looking at our industry and making sure they all get a piece of the pie so that they remain relevant.
ST just picked the wrong partner.
