The queen is dead.
May she rest in peace.
While I feel the same sorrow for her passing as I do when anyone that I don't loses a loved one, I don't understand the outpouring of sympathy for her in the US.
We were not her subjects.
Yet we are seeing speeches from OUR Senate floor about her.
They have my sympathy but I don't get it for the US and the grief that our leadership is expressing.
Not hating.
Just not understanding.
