Resupply subs at sea by MV-22? Stupid mission set. The only reason why subs should surface is to evacuate personnel that are sick or injured (beyond the capability of staff aboard the boat). THIS COAST GUARD MISSION MAKES SENSE! The training evolution? Not so much. This is why I was complaining about the resupply mission of subs by USMC MV-22s. Emergency medical evacuation should be the only at sea mission for subs to surface...
