Make no mistake about it. Retail stores as we know them will be dead within 5 years.
What will take their place?
Covid kinda led the way with that. Grocery delivery was the final nail in the coffin. With that we can even get food without entering a store.
I'm betting that you'll probably have to go online, order whatever, pay for it online and then flash id at a pickup point and they slide whatever you ordered out of a slot drive up bank style.
