About the collapse of the player on the field last night...sorry but its a passion play.

 I hope to god that the player that collapsed on the field last night gets better and is able to play again.  But let's get real.

The delay of the game is a public relations passion play.

In Louisiana we get at least 3 or 4 players that are medical emergencies or another few that actually die during pre-season training.  Even a few that have medical issues during spring training and some that have died.

Serious injury and death is nothing new to football.  It goes back decades and if you care to research you can find where players have died in the hospital after games.

So yeah I get it.  To many this is shocking.  To people that have actually participated in the sport....not so much.

Side note.  This is the same NFL that have seen people paralyzed for life on the field.  Yet the game continued.  The same NFL that has seen traumatic brain injury and yet few things have changed. This is a money play and a chance to look right with the public. The dude in Miami has had three concussions in one year but is still playing?  Yet you think the NFL actually gives a fuck?  Yeah right!
