More bullshit drama for the masses.  This thing was never in doubt.

Riddle me this.  How does the Republican party have a Speaker from a state that is anti-Republican?

Make no mistake.  McCarthy is a swamp creature.  He is up to his eyeballs in swamp juice.

He's so far from conservative that it should make real conservatives punch walls.

So why did the hold outs cave?

For the same reason that a liberal Republican senator from Alaska could get re-elected.  The monied class spoke and they were threatened in future elections.

If you believe in the Republican party and think that they're truly different from the Dems on REAL ISSUES then you're smoking crack (in my opinion).
