Why are NATO advisors still allowing the Ukrainians to conduct single tank ops?

Everytime I see a lone armored vehicle go out to conduct ops I wonder WTF! It makes no sense to me and I can't think of ANY FORCE on the planet that would operate this way. It's in no ones doctrine. So why are NATO advisors still allowing the Ukrainians to do it? I don't know but it irks the hell outta me. War is terrible but they're just wasting lives. Even worse I have to wonder if the soldiers doing these ops even know how batshit crazy it is.

Note.  Correction, that Ukrainian AND Russian forces are into this. Since they're cousin countries I guess that's just how they roll but its still insane to me.

One other thing on the conduct of this war.  The Ukrainians make a big show of how their UAVs are plinking vehicles and infantry all over the battlefield.  When are the Russians gonna start countering that?

This war is insanity.  It's almost like its designed to just drag on, not to reach a conclusion.

Have you noticed that outside of a few notable exceptions (the Falklands and Gulf War 1), every war waged in the modern era is a long slog with no real ending?  20 years and no favorable outcome to the war in Afghanistan?  Almost as long in Iraq and they're practically Iranian allies?  Stuck in Syria doing only God knows what and no end in sight?

If we were a real military in the form of the War Dept, we'd see a whole slew of generals fired for incompetence (how can losing wars be a career enhancer but somehow it is now)!  

Winning wars is no longer the objective.  War is simply another business model and the continuation of war is good business.  I guess the end of the cold war and the peace dividend led to long wars being baked into the cake of the military industrial complex!
