This makes my complaint clear.

There was once a time when the Marine Corps was simple.  Close with and destroy the enemy.

Every Marine knew that.  Every Marine understood that.  

Today?

You get a high ranking officer to explain Force Design 2030 and it takes him 10 minutes to just get started and you better pack lunch cause its gonna be a lecture.

Force Design 2030 isn't built for Marines or the Marine Corps.  It's built for policy makers and think tanks.

The problem?

Policy makers and think tanks won't have to do the fighting. A confused 18 year old will.
