Replacement of Bradleys and Strykers. Now cluster munitions and ATACMS are headed to Ukraine? The Russians must have really bloodied them badly if we keep having to send gear to meet the need. Has anyone noticed that they keep reaching for more and more to finally turn the tide but the tide never seems to get turned? This war is inching dangerously close to being a quagmire. The US is strongly considering sending cluster munitions (DPICM) to Ukraine.

"Changing battlefield conditions inside Ukraine over the last 2 weeks have prompted US officials to give the cluster munitions renewed and serious consideration" @NatashaBertrandhttps://t.co/SwGnWBlU0J pic.twitter.com/JB3rGStOFK
I just don't see any major changes this year. Both sides are spent.
To be blunt it seems like they're fighting for positioning for the winter. Sooner or later they're gonna have to clean up the lines, and properly plan for an offensive NEXT year.
This thing was badly planned and executed. It was a political and not military decision to push now.
For better or worse Ukraine will be a factor in the US elections.
Either the military continues to lie about the risk that has been assumed by sending all this gear or they're gonna have to ask for a MASSIVE increase in defense spending not to modernize but just to get the warstock back to where it was, not where it needs to be for a peer vs peer war.
The US military, govt and all the cheerleaders for this war prioritized Ukrainian security ahead of our own.
