I find this hyper interesting. I always thought that the Mi-29N would be the armor blaster with the KA-52 being simply the multi-role star that could do the naval attack, recon and general battlefield task. Seems like I was wrong. The KA-52 is demonstrating some impressive survivability (did anyone else see the story of one flying back to base after having its tail boom blown off) and we all know its fast and can carry a huge load. I asked if the attack helicopter was dead. With what we're seeing now obviously not. One thing is certain. Deep strike is off the plate for them though.
