26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable)’s Maritime Special Purpose Force conduct a live-fire range aboard USS Bataan

* Wonder if the Marine Corps tested the barrel length and found the 11in barrel on the H&K A5 to be optimal for a shorty or did they just pull it out their ass. Always been told that 14.5 is as short as you want to go for an all around battle rifle in 5.56 and any shorter was for special applications.
