If this is true then fucking WOW~! We're seeing a basic breakdown of discipline. I don't recall exactly but I know refusing an order to perform a combat mission in the Marine Corps is some SERIOUS shit.

Like spend the rest of your life in the brig shit.  The kind that will get you labeled in the history of the Corps shit.

We are definitely in the land of mirrors with regard to the Ukraine/Russia war. We don't know what's actually going on and bad news can't be verified so it remains a mystery.
