Another strike against Houthi forces

I have to pop out the last portion of this press release.
These strikes have no association with and are separate from Operation Prosperity Guardian, a defensive coalition of over 20 countries operating in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb Strait, and Gulf of Aden.

Isn't that a little weird?

These strikes have nothing to do with the operation to protect civilian naval traffic BUT some of the ships that are assigned to that operation are the same ships that conducted this strike?

You do know what happened right?

Some fucking lawyer in the Pentagon is bucking for a promotion so they decided to earn it by pointing out some useless triviality to produce this jumbled bullshit ass presser.

Ya want to know when the US started loosing wars or at the very least not winning them decisively?

When the focus switched from outright victory to winning hearts and minds.  Part of that idiocy is the desire to emphasize the rules of war.

Nevermind the fact that war at its very heart is a lawless activity that is accepted by national leaders because they don't have to participate in the actual bloodshed and is only a salve to the masses so that they can feel good about their sons killing others (makes the public pivot from the "baby killers" of Vietnam to simply volunteering for service into a heroic act muchless killing for politics by another means much more appealing).

My thinking is that we're gonna see more strikes against the Houthis out of necessity.

I'd bet body parts the Iranians are rearming them as we speak and only have to get the weapons into the country to strike sea traffic again.

They're gonna have to interdict that resupply and destroy the stuff that makes it thru.
