Robot arrests citizen?

Well I guess. Truth of the matter and everyone has forgotten, but a madman went on a rampage in Dallas killing several officers there. He was cornered in a parking garage and the Chief (who was on scene) ordered the "robot" to be used to in plain words...kill the criminal (justified in my opinion). This is gonna be a HUGE controversy in the future but its just a natural evolution. The US military is playing with weaponizing ground robots. US law enforcement will be forced to get this into the field asap. The new breed of criminal and the firepower leaking across the border will demand sending a robot where you won't send a man.
