Did the dead missing soldiers die in a swamp?

I so hate this.

I know I know.  Inherently dangerous and all that jazz.  But to die because your vehicle ran into a swamp on what I consider a pretty damn useless deployment?

God bless their souls and their families.  So sad.  So pointless.
