If the Brits are foolish enough to put boots on the ground in Ukraine then they will in essence be fully committing to that effort. 1 unit deployed, 1 unit training and 1 returning from deployment is bad enough. You add in cobbling units together to get them up to stregnth, the usual shennaigans that happen to the lame and lazy or just plain insanity that predeployment is and they won't have the ability to do ANYTHING but man that mission. The worse thing? As things currently stand this is an open ended commitment. They could be in Ukraine for a decade or two.The British military is a shell of what it once was. These are some numbers for the army but their air force & navy have similarly reduced capabilities & capacity to project force across it's shrinking, but still large, empire.
