All you people cheering for Hamas are cheering for this...

You people better take another look at those protests.

The enemy isn't at the gates.  THE ENEMY IS INSIDE THE WIRE!

If you don't know, I'm afraid you probably will soon.  They're telegraphing it too.  They're pushing for gun control because once the US gets its own "Oct 7th" its gonna be on.

You get what you deserve so the looming attack doesn't bother me much.  Too many have been all about that open border shit to even rankle my feather anymore.

The only part of this that bothers me is that the tilt to law and order will be so extreme that we're gonna see a Patriot Act 2.0 on steroids.

We're setting ourselves up (correction, allowed ourselves to be setup) for a police state that would make Stalin blush.

US expects a change in IDF tactics...

I don't think I agree with this assessment. I believe the IDF is gonna continue with their bombardment in an attempt to wreck as many tunnels as possible. I do believe that the ground assault will become the focuse but I believe the end is in sight for this operation. I said earlier that worldwide public attention would end this fight sooner rather than later and I expect it to be all but done by Thanksgiving. What has me puzzled is the fact that we're seeing massive protest in Japan. JAPAN! In support of Hamas!?! Someone is bankrolling this thing and I would luv to know who it is and why. Someone wants the West distracted and stupid. Unfortunately they're winning. Too many domestic problems in each country to have this fill so much attention. Even our own lawmakers are more focused on these events then the issues at home.

5th Canadian Division's LAV 6.0 at work...

Hamas anti-tank units are utilizing "unique" tactics...

Yeah and if you think this illustration isn't real then check this shit out. How fanatical do you have to be to actually do some shit like this? You're running across open ground with a fucking anti-tank round in your hands and placing it on a tank? As visicious as many seem to think it is, I don't know if you can negotiate with people like this unless they're utterly defeated on the battlefield, i.e. the Japanese from WW2.

Check out this thread on Hamas tunnel networks...

Did some thinking about tunnels. I still think the idea of going down and fighting underground is a fool's errand. I luv CoffeeJoeJava's idea of simply pumping in sea water, the IDF's sponge bomb and other easy fixes that don't require sending your men down there.

Having said that and taking a short look back at history, I have to believe that tunnels really only work in certain locations.  In the jungle (at least in the past without the ISR assets we have today) I have to believe that they DO work, and I'm looking at the Vietnam War as the bellcow for that statement.

Cities?  Not so much.  They anticipated.  Even in this war from what I've seen of the footage the tunnels work in what I would call "the suburbs" of the fight.  Once they hit actual cities they're dialed in hard to the fact that they're out there.

In short?

Tunnels are an obstacle but if you're willing to work smart (CJJ's idea) then they can be nullified quite easily.

The internet makes many brave. There are consequences when you say certain shit in real life

I enjoyed that. Say it again dude. Got lots more. Young or old your words/actions have consequences. Oh and walking away is an option up to a point, but so is violence.

Any object can be a deadly weapon...

Lord Bebo expresses outrage here. I made the comment on an earlier post that a rock can be considered a deadly weapon and a case can be made that deadly force is justified. I think this vid illustrates my point. A person with a knife that charges another individual is obviously a case where deadly force is authorized. What about in this case? Dude has a large rock. He looks (at least from my chair) that when the guy gets out with the rifle he appears to be getting ready to throw it.

That is where the rock thrower messed up.

If he had struck the care and ran away then it would be only property damage.

But he didn't do that.

He turned and looked as if he was going to throw the rock.  He was shot.

Now let's flip this.  What if he had thrown the rock, hit the guy with the rifle in the head knocking him out.  He's then at the mercy of the rock thrower who could (1) stomp him to death (2) take his rifle and shoot him to death or (3) simply walk away with his then victim possibly suffering brain damage for the rest of his life.

This is a major problem with the world we live in (talking about the West).

We are so pussified, so fearful of violence that many PREFER to be the victims of that violence instead of fighting back.

At the end of the day this is a case of FAFO.

MUST READ TWEET! The author believes (I agree) that Hamas did not plan on being wildly successful on Oct 7.

Wow. You do get the force of connection on this right? The IDF was given credit for being more combat ready than they actually were by Hamas. Because the IDF wasn't ready, because the civilian population was disarmed and because this all happened on a national holiday, the terrorist wrecked more chaos than they thought possible.

Grieving Palestinian in Gaza shouts "All this is because of the dogs of Hamas"

Does she speak for the majority or the minority? Notice that they immediately silence her. Question. Could a two state solution work if Hamas doesn't want a two state solution? Remember Arafat walked away from a deal. I rarely hear other Arab leaders talk about a two state solution. Is it even plausible given current attitudes?

On Oct 7, another terrorist filmed his last minutes. You can hear him struggling to breath at the end...

Can't make it out if I hear a kill shot at the end of this but if it was then it might have been a mercy. What I don't understand is why you would see your buddies hit like that and not seek cover.

Remember the flyers being put up to help find the missing people from the Oct 7 attack? Well its getting ugly

Pro-Hamas activists have been ripping down the flyers that have been put up to help find the missing people from Oct 7. One thing on that. Its just a way to quietly protest and to propagandize the fight between the IDF and Hamas. Having said that putting up flyers is peaceful, ain't in your face and in the best history of protesting in the USA. Well I guess the pro IDF activists have had enough. Someone on that side is putting razor blades on them to keep them from getting ripped down. Amazing!

Sidenote.  Between real life, the various social issues, the issues with our own govt, covid hangover, the world at war (or most of it), illegal immigration, crime, the economy and an exploding federal budget (I know I missed many other things) how much longer before society just breaks?  I don't know if its my imagination but it sure seems like this is just too much to be coincidence.  Yeah I already know.  "Conspiracy theory Solomon" strikes again but damn!  We're getting fire hosed every fucking day.

Modernity is losing big time in the Middle East if you look at women's rights...

This Tweet says so much. But the weirdest part of it is that the people cheering the hardest for the terrorist on college campuses are mostly (from my chair) women! I don't get it. They want the most liberal of societies here in the US but are supporting the very people that would have them in full veil here. I guess history is not taught at the university level anymore. Critical thinking either.

Dude is leaking out...WARNING! GRAPHIC!

Does anyone know what happened with this IDF commander?

Any status on this guy?  Is he dead or alive?  I almost hope he isn't alive.  If he is then I know he's probably praying for death at this point.

Looks like the IDF is using unmanned vehicles in the combat engineer role

*NOTE* Follow @jpartej on X.com. Dude has some absolutely FANTASTIC photos of IDF armor on his page. Put out the word, he needs to have his work more widely viewed! The entire thread on this topic is awesome.
Bonus tweet from the same page. Check out this anti-mine system.

This pic of IDF armor inside Gaza almost looks surreal....

Amazing. People are snorting caffeine.

I've chewed on coffee.  I've dipped coffee.  But I never in my life thought of crushing caffeine tablets and snorting them.

Well looks like I was behind the times.  The company "want a bump" is selling the stuff.  Check it out here.

I guess this is the logical progression of things.  A little while ago I told you about have tried packets filled with pre workout that you use like dip so how is this outrageous huh?
