Exercise Caribbean Coastal Warrior (BROLL)
U.S. Marines with Bravo Company, 2d Reconnaissance (2d Recon) Battalion, 2d Marine Division, and Dutch Marines with the Netherlands Marine Corps conduct night dives during Exercise Caribbean Coastal Warrior on Savaneta Kamp, Aruba, June 14-23, 2021. The dives consisted of integrated training with Dutch Frogmen to increase the ability to work in a low visibility environment. Exercise Caribbean Coastal Warrior allowed 2d Recon Marines to expand their knowledge and proficiency operating in a littoral or coastal region while increasing global interoperability with 32nd Raiding Squadron, Netherlands Marine Corps. This Covid-19 vac is gonna be harder than Anthrax was ...via Reddit...LtCol in the US Army has resigned because he refuses to get the COVID-19 vaccine. He calls the order to be vaccinated "unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical", and calls the Biden Administration a "Marxist takeover of the military and United States"
Note. Trying to run this down and verify it but having no luck. Take it with a grain of salt...if proven false this is still worthy of discussion. We saw the same with the Anthrax vaccine but it was much less controversial.
The real problem? In my opinion you're seeing a pushback against the shot as a cover for anger over the administration's policies with regard to the military.
We saw (I did) rumblings of discontent under the Obama Admin and its reaching a fever pitch under the Biden tenure.
From my chair the Pentagon has a problem. It appears to have been politicized and has put its finger on the scale for a certain political party.
That's no good.
A non-political defense establishment is what we need. I've noticed that certain groups are trying to drag corporations and govt agencies into the culture war. That should be avoided when possible. Will they listen? I don't think so. Which means more trouble ahead.

I had a long rant about the "naming" of this day but I decided to take it down.
Suffice it to say that I have issues with the whole celebration of this thing and seriously wonder WTF is going on in the Pentagon, State Dept, Justice Dept and other agencies.
You do realize that in the crush to evacuate Afghans we've laid the groundwork for another attack. No way they were all vetted. No way that terrorists didn't slip thru the cracks.
We'll see blowback on this entire episode (meaning the withdrawal) for years to come. More attacks are coming. Mark my words.
About that drone strike that the Pentagon was crowing about after the attack on our Marines...

Personally I blame the medical community for piss poor messaging and for changing goal posts. I blame the politicians for handing over public policy to those that aren't elected by the people and ignoring the mental/morale portion of the measures they've enacted.
The economy was shut down for over a year. It only takes 3 months to develop a lifestyle and people have developed a lifestyle of fear, staying at home, depending on a select few to fill their needs, etc...
Unwinding the societal damage caused by this thing will take at least a decade.
The cure WAS worse than the disease. Have you noticed the shortages and price increases? The supply chain is crashed. Plus you have workers that won't go back to work.
Do I know the answer? Nope. But I do know that what's been done hasn't worked and is damaging. Oh and guess what?
The world is pissed when it comes to lockdowns and we have ANOTHER variant that is loose in California and heading nationwide.
Covid is the disaster of this era. This thing could seriously unwind the global economy.
