Assange revealed some real darkness.

 

I'm really surprised this guy is still alive. Assange revealed some real darkness that most are too scared to look at it. America is a great country but we've done some bad things...most countries have. But the thought that Snowden would have to run to Russia and that Assange would have to face jail is over the top. The public is so silly that 99.99% never even know who they are. That's really a shame. Real patriots will be called villains and real villains will be called patriots. That's where we're at now.

Remember the idiocy/foolishness during lockdown. NO to covid amnesty!

The arrogance of the lockdown crowd was unbearable. We destroyed our economy for the sake of a small portion of the population that was vulnerable to this disease. Now we're all suffering the aftermath of their idiotic decisions. I will NOT forgive them.

Chinese "Lynx" UGV family multi-purpose vehicles

Make sure to check out the entire thread. He has screen shots of many of the vehicles in the vid. What I find interesting is that the Chinese are really pusing the "optionally manned" part of this thing. I imagine they see a future where serious jamming is going on so they'll have to put a human in direct control. Additionally I'm really impressed by how heavily armed many of these little rigs are. Only the US Army with the 50mm cannon armed robot vehicle compares and we don't have any heavy indirect fire models that match what the Chinese are doing.

China will be hunting our forces with loitering munitions...

Hmm. So one vehicle could theoretically knock out an ACV company that isn't properly equipped. A HIMARs battery. Take out a FARP. Now do you get why I think that the Leonidas-Stryker is so necessary? We're not dealing with one or two but whole swarms of drones. I don't know how many of these vehicles makes up a "company or battery" but if we go with the standard of four to six then you're looking at 72 loitering munitions going after a high value tactical target. That alone might be enough to put a serious hurt on a company landing team. ONE 4 vehicle section of loitering munitions.

Re-thinking Guadalcanal...The Navy got raped by the Japanese...

This one is a kick in the nuts to Marine Corps lore.

The lore is that the Navy abandoned the Marine Corps on the island.  In a sense that is true.  But the reason why is left unsaid for reasons of propaganda, national pride and during the time - wartime censorship.

The US Navy got its shit pushed in by the Japanese Navy.

The Navy didn't abandon the Marines.

The Navy was trying to preserve what was left of its fleet.

The lore is the lore and its fully engrained now, but the REAL lesson needs to be applied to future warfare.

Forces forward...whether Marines in the Pacific or Army outposts in the Middle East/Africa face a real danger of being cutoff and destroyed.

The Romans tried putting forts on its frontier to keep the tribals under control.

It didn't work then and it appears that it won't work now.  Forward presence is a only credible IF we have forces ready to surge forward in enough time to make a difference.

I'm not sure we have that ability anywhere anymore.
