Bakhmut Update...

I am really beginning to wonder if there is any coordination on the battlefield. It almost looks like individual commanders decide to launch attacks on a whim. Really kinda curious. If they operated in REAL battle groups or combat teams it might be doable (still would strain higher headquarters to support uncoordinated actions though).

Dead District tweet of POWs...no context though...

First group of inmates turned combat troops for Wagner return from their tour of duty...

Yeah. Ukraine AND Russia needs to turn this off. Many fucked up things in this war but we're reaching saturation overload...

Yeah I know.

War brings out the animal in alot of guys that they can't turn off. I've heard of some HORRIFIC rapes by US servicemembers against their comrades.

Male AND Female.

That's a kick in the head.

So I shouldn't be surprised by this.  I'm actually not, but I am more convinced than ever that it is in the best interest of both sides to turn this off NOW!

The sad thing.

I hope this dudes girl/wife, whatever, never gets this note and never sees this picture.

The standard, your loved one died heroically in the defense of his nation is sometimes an AWESOME lie rather than telling a TERRIBLE truth.

British AH-64s were written off due to marine corrosion?

Wow. It's weird. I thought the Brits one upped the US Army and had their Apaches fully marinized. If this is true then they really screwed the pooch.

Taiwan anti-ship component sent to Leica for repair who then sent it to China to do the actual work!

Western corporations are so damn greedy that we can't win a hypothetical war with China unless we put them back in a cage. Unfortunately it will require a UNITED/JOINT approach from ALL Western nations to get the job done.

Greed being one of the only uniting factors of humanity means that even IF we tried, we'd fail.

You can always find some sorry fuck that puts money over country...just look at our Congress and White House!

We're into Body Count warfare. Ukraine claims upwards of 400 killed in their MLRS strike, Russia claims FAR fewer..

I have NEVER liked body count warfare. To say that this is the first "modern peer conflict" to see this thing reverting back to industrial age metrics is kinda stunning. One other thing has me kinda mind fucked. We're seeing almost NO attempt at maneuver warfare and this thing is sinking back into the WW1 era of attrition. Is it because of missiles? Missile strikes on ground forces and anti-air missiles to make airpower irrelevant? If so then that further explains how FD2030 is gonna fight the Chinese. Once again its not about winning against a force the Chinese send against a Marine Littoral Regiment, its just making sure to bleed them badly while being dispersed enough so that the casualties don't rank up exponentially.

Reminds me of the Spartan movie.
This is where we fight.  This is where they die!  ON THESE SHIELDS BOYS!  This will be your day for all time!

Replace shields with missiles, and a certainty that no retreat will be possible (or even contemplated) and it all makes sense.

They will die in place.

Are we seeing small boat combat in Ukraine? Is this a preview of what Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crew (SWCC) could do in a peer conflict?

Hmm. Makes me wonder if Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crew (SWCC) might want to switch out all those machineguns for hellfires and javelins and start practicing repelling Chinese Marine/Army amphibious assaults in the Pacific? Even to start doing the WW2 PT Boat attack thing for the modern era? Now this could be a role for a small force of SOCOM!
