About that savage police beating..

No excuses on this one.

That shit was above the top and alot worse than I ever thought it would be (we just had one by State Troopers that was bad and even that wasn't as bad as this one...oh and he died too).

The only thing left for me to wonder (and I agree with the charges and firing) is did these guys have contact with this dude before?

I'm sure their internal affairs is all over their contact cards (what we call them...you make contact with an individual and you get their name, date of birth etc...don't know what they're called in other places) and their body cams will be reviewed till the beginning of time (they're recharged and downloaded at the end of shift so a record is kept) so if he showed up they'll probably know.

Other than that I guess the only thing left is that the surprise is that black officers were involved in this.

Well if you know a black officer that works in the "hood" then ask him about his average day.  You're called uncle Tom, gigaboo and a whole lot of other stuff you'd rather not hear.

So on that part I ain't surprised.  You dig around in the trash too long you're gonna pick some up.

Which leads me to this.

I kinda thing they should have a time limit on how long you serve on these teams.  Especially in the age we live in now.

The pressure has to be intense to get guns off the street, lock up killers and drug dealers and all kinds of special projects your Chief/Sheriff has for ya.

You won't decompress going back to patrol but it will give you a break from the high speed stuff for a while.

Add Seattle to the list of batshit crazy big US cities...

Good God! They're actually practicing doing this....US Army soldiers clear a mock North Korean Underground Facility (UGF) during a Counter-WMD training exercise called Operation Centurion Blitz in South Korea

Just plain wow. Heard of "DARPA Hard"? It once meant that a problem was so hard that only DARPA could get their arms around it. I guess this is the "SOCOM Hard" version of things. I just don't know. I consider it a suicide mission and I can't see how they have any conducted any wargames where the casualty rate wasn't over 90%. They've got to have a trick in their bag to even consider this shit. Maybe some type of super quick incapacitating gas that leaves the target either severely injured or dead within microseconds of inhalation? Has to be something cause if they're just doing it conventionally then its a non-starter from jump.

Air Mobility Boss predicts war with China in 2025

If this is true then we need to cut off all aid to Ukraine and get our logistics, manufacturing and war fighting forces up to snuff NOW! Additionally we can assume that he has info we don't so this isn't a shot in the dark.

Well...I'm looking forward to a terrible weekend...

Heard about the police brutality case in Memphis?  Seen the video? Probably not but they're gonna release it at 4pm tomorrow.

They're saying that its terrible and will inflame passions.

Ok.  I get that.  But why release the thing on a Friday afternoon.  Kids are out of school, people are getting off work...portions of the community are getting good and liquored up and worse...

And they freaking release the vid on fucking Friday.

Terrible weekend here we come.

Italian Marine Corps AAV Ops

One thing has puzzled me about our AAVs. How can our allies have such pristine models and ours are trashed beyond belief? The Japanese, Italians and S. Koreans (doing a licensed homebuilt version) all are very well maintained but ours seemed to have rusted away.

CH-53K sling load

It would have been so beautiful! MZK 105mm autoloader turret as part of the upgrade of the M60A3 tanks.
