That was an awesome prank but there is a teachable moment included too. Did you notice the grandma yelling "WTF are you doing"? That is a factor that has to be considered if you ever have to defend yourself in a public setting. No matter how justified you are there will be people that are so "frightened" by violence that they will blame you as well as the actual attacker.

I've heard stories of bystanders grabbing weapons because they didn't want to see violence. Things might have changed today but I don't believe it has.

I'd take the whole vehicle, put our M1's in storage for the big one and use these on float but barring that I'd love to see them fit the Type 16 MCV's turret on the ACV.

Regardless I really want to hear what the Corps is gonna do with Tanks. The silence on that issue is becoming overwhelming.

I wonder why the armor community in the Corps as a whole isn't making more noise? The Army is setting up an aggressive upgrade path and the Corps seems to be standing pat. Someone somewhere that has eagles on his shoulders has to be pissed!

Politics Talk. They're still melting down over the WHCD....

I really should have watched the White House Correspondents Dinner. The left is practically melting down over the clusterfuck and the drama continues. First we had a series of Journalists state that the comedian went over the top...we had the "head" of the dinner issue an apology and now we have the blow back. Blow back is a bit subdued. When I write that CNN politics writer Chris Cillizza is the rankest assbrain in the Western Hemisphere, I am not being nice to him. When I write that God clowned Chris Cillizza before he was born by making him Chris Cillizza instead of a shit-eating maggot, I am being unkind. When I say that Chris Cillizza himself is the punchline to the cruelest work of absurdist comedy in the history of the fucking universe, and that the title of that work is On the Origin of Species, I am being mean. Likewise it probably is downright nasty for me to write that on the whole American society would benefit greatly by Chris Cillizza being fired out of a large cannon into an even larger cliff face. But I am not bullying Chris Cillizza. Categorically, I cannot do that.

A frank and honest description of who she is and what she does would be much more harsh: Every day, Sarah Huckabee Sanders plants herself, by choice, between the public and the facts of what’s being done at the very highest levels of American executive power, and does her damnedest to break and delegitimize the means by which the two are brought together.

Ukraine is turning a Self Propelled Howitzer into an IFV????

Ukraine’s UkrInnMash Corporation is now offering the Kevlar-E infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) based on the Russian 122 mm 2S1 self-propelled howitzer (SPH) platform.

The original turret 2S1 SPH has been removed and the area to the immediate rear of the diesel power pack and driver’s position at the front of the vehicle raised to provide greater internal volume for its new mission.

Who knew? But I guess we all should have. Men of a certain age in S. Korea will have military service and those that have ambitions for office will try and get into an elite unit.

I just hope they can pull off the peace thing with the North. If that happens then Trump truly deserves the Nobel....along with dare I say it the Presidents of North and South Korea...
