China is massing 150,000 troops on the border of N. Korea!

Thanks to FNU for the link!

via ZeroHedge.

While the catalyst is unclear, it appears the market dropped as headlines of further sanctions against Russia appeared and reports of China deploiying 150,000 troops to its North Korea border.

According to Korean news agency Chosun, the "Chinese army has deployed about 150,000 troops to the North Korean border in two groups to prepare for unforeseen circumstances." The reason: the prospect of "military options", such as preemptive attacks on North Korea, like the one the United States launched on Syria.

More Google translated:
As the United States announced its independent North Korean behavior and moved the United States Navy's nuclear-powered Calvinus (CVN-70) carrier class to Singapore, the Chinese army has deployed about 150,000 troops in two groups to prepare for unforeseen circumstances.

"The report said. It is because of the prospect of taking "military options", such as preemptive attacks on North Korea, just as the United States has launched an air raid on Syria.

Japan's Sankei Shimbun reported on the 9th that the Syrian missile strike in the United States shocked China, suggesting that the People's Liberation Army forces are moving toward the Yalu River, .

The newspaper said the video was also broadcast on the Internet, but the authorities removed the relevant information, saying the move was a medical and aft support unit for the Shenyang bulb (the northern light bulb)
Another possible catalyst is a report by Russia's interfax that Moscow is preparing for more sanctions, and has warned local air companies about a possible suspension of charter flights with Tu

Whatever the catalyst, the reaction is clear:
I don't know.  Is this just another snap exercise by the Red Chinese?  Is it in response to our sending an aircraft carrier to the region?  Could they believe that we are about to launch a decapitation strike against the little fat man?

Only God knows and he ain't telling me nothing.

Terrorism Rant. Why I don't talk about attacks in Europe anymore...

Small rant.

If you've been a long time reader of this blog then you know that I covered terrorist attacks in Europe hardcore.  I didn't in the latest attack Sweden.  Do you wonder why?

Why should I care if the Europeans don't?

Its really very simple.  I have many readers from Europe that support the policies of the EU and when I've tried to debate them I've been shouted down. After terrorist attacks instead of being alarmed at the threat inside their countries they've countered with the talking points of how "effective their security forces reacted".

They've made a deal with the devil and he's coming to get his due.  They don't care, I don't care.  I wish them well but its obvious that the threat is now enduring.  They will suffer this fate for at least another generation....I hope they survive but I wonder....

Navy Matters Blog has a must read on the Tomahawk strike.

Read Navy Matters Blog write up on the Tomahawk strike here.

When did the Surface Navy in the form of Burke Class Destroyers become the go to entity for punitive strikes for the White House/Pentagon?

Riddle me this.

When was the last time that we saw airstrikes being conducted for the purpose of "sending a message"?  I'm not sure but I think it goes back to the early 90's if not before.

No one asks where are the carriers....now they ask where are the Burke's!

With little notice the US Navy's surface fleet has become the instrument of "sending a message".

Uber driver threatened with accusation of rape by irate female rider.

via the root.
A young Bronx, N.Y., woman who was caught on cellphone video apparently threatening to call the police and falsely accuse an Uber driver of rape wa banned from the app for life, according to a company spokesperson.

“The behavior in this video is abusive and completely unacceptable,” an Uber spokesperson said in a statement, according to the New York Post.

The footage, which was uploaded online this week, appears to show the unidentified female passenger hurling slurs and curses at the male driver for several minutes.

“I’m going to start screaming out the window that you’re raping me, that you raped me,” she says.

“I will punch myself in the face and tell the cops you did it,” she adds. “You wanna play?”

The woman tells the driver, “Go back to your country” and says, “Donald Trump going to send you and your family back. Get the fuck out of my country.”

The incident all seemed to unfold, according to the Post, because the driver did not have an iPhone charger.

“If I don’t have a charger, politely ask me. I’ll politely tell you, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t have a charger,’” the driver says to the woman. “But you start disrespecting me.”

The back-and-forth continues as the driver continues to record and even smiles at the camera.

“I was taking you to your destination until you started talking shit,” he says, just before the woman realizes that the footage is being recorded.

“Why are you recording me?” she yells, while punching the man’s seats. “He just hit me in my face!”

The driver says that the passenger is free to “make up whatever lies [she] wants” before the woman eventually gets out of the car.

Uber continued in its statement about the incident: “As our Community Guidelines make clear, this will not be tolerated by anyone who uses Uber. The rider’s account has been banned and Uber is looking into this incident.”

Neither the driver nor the rider has been publicly identified.
A couple of things (watch the video to understand my comments please)...

1.  When did the word "nigga" become appropriate for common use?  I personally view it to be as vile as "nigger" but for some reason more and more people are using it....and no its not middle aged or old people but 20 somethings.  I don't understand and don't want to.  Its beyond stupid.  I wonder what Martin Luther King would think about this development.

2.  Women using laws against men in minor disputes.  We all know it but its nice to see a perfect example of it for everyone to see.  Even worse.  Men and women of all ages are aware of the problem but no one is doing anything about it.

3.  Is it me or does Uber seem like the company of the walking dead.  I wonder how much longer it can stay in business.

4.  All this over a phone charger?  Simply amazing.
