Chinese Type 04 IFV is HUGE compared to the Chinese Type 96 MBT...

Can you see the size difference?  This is going to become a problem that has to be addressed going into the future.  How do you combat size signature on a modern battlefield?  The larger you are the easier it is to see you.  IFVs across the board are getting bigger as the need to provide both the volume to carry an overburdened infantry AND protect the occupants increases.

Do we need to adopt smaller but more numerous vehicles?  Do we adjust the iron triangle and put a bigger emphasis on mobility?  Do we accept the current meta and seek to increase protection thru other means (APS)?

I don't know but when you have IFVs that are larger than MBTs then its obvious that something will have to give.

KF41 Lynx Modularity?

Interesting but not exactly revolutionary.  Everyone is all gaga over modularity but I have yet to see it actually practiced by ANY military force on the planet. Almost EVERY vehicle is mission specific and modularity comes from simply flexing a vehicle into a new need.

It's a great sales pitch but in reality its simply just another gimmick.

Space Force is getting camo uniforms?

Don't quite get this Space Force.  Seems like they're basically falling in under the USAF, and this uniform is a joke.  Space bro!  You don't need multicam in space?  MAYBE multicam black but not woodland or arid or whatever they call this!

Anyone have better info on this thing?  Is it actually the 6th service or is it a pumped up command that gets a seat at the table?

Thoughts? I'm thinking double tap, head and then to the pelvic girdle...

Sad.

I'm thinking a double tap, head shot and then to the pelvic girdle!  Just kidding.  The above statement does not reflect my thinking if actually involved in such an incident.

Good on Boeing for getting back on track.  One thing about this tech though.  Looks bulky.  Looks aren't everything but it seems a bit unwieldy.

Sunday Funny. Socrates on marriage?

No go zones in France?

Interesting.  I'm learning new stuff.  Apparently "no go" zones are not a thing in the US but there are "don't fuck around" zones where extra caution and backup on hand zones.    Basically lawless places where its necessary for the safety of public servants to apply appropriate discretion before entering.

Was that vague as hell?  Don't know how to say it better and I might be misunderstanding.
