LOS ANGELES — The LAPD is looking to adjust its policies to allow immigrant officers with deferred citizenship to keep their service firearms while off-duty, NBC Los Angeles reported.

Federal law normally prohibits residents of the U.S. under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy (DACA) from owning firearms, according to the report.

The LAPD is seeking to include officers’ off-duty hours as a continuation of their official duties, making it legal for DACA recipients to take their service firearms home with them.

“When these current individuals, who are DACA recipients, graduate from the academy, it would be appropriate for us to have a written policy that clearly defines what their authorities and responsibilities are, given their position as a police officer,” Chief Michel Moore told NBC Los Angeles.

The legal requirement for California officers to be U.S. citizens was removed in Sept. 2022, according to the report. Current law requires officers to be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

This is gonna be crazy.

A non-citizen is gonna arrest an American citizen?

California has lost its fucking mind.  This is like some crazy UN shit all the conspiracy people were talking about.

Wow. Zelensky better have an escape plan. The West will blame him and his generals, while pushing him overboard & Russia will hunt him down. If I was him I'd call China real quick. That's probably his only hope of staying alive. After hearing this news his best bet is to probably seek some kind of agreement but the warhawks/globalist will cry foul...too many dead Ukrainians for anything but a terrible ending for him if he stays too long.

The intel failure is beyond complete. Hamas played the IDF and Mossad so hard! They never knew this was there and apparently they have no weapons capable of getting deep enough to destroy them. The lessons learned for fighting an insurgency bordering on nation state army is gonna be extreme after this. Insurgencies in places with smaller militaries are gonna be hard pressed in the future to contain them if Hamas is any example.

The Ukrainians have been begging for everything except the ST Engineering Bronco or the BAE Beowulf. These guys just ain't serious about what they need. If nothing else I'd be begging for some of those cargo UAVs the USMC is supposed to be developing as a real world test of the system. They don't have a plan for winning the war. I doubt they ever did. The critics are right. This is all about money, money laundering and the military industrial complex getting fat. The deaths of the male population of Ukraine be damned.

This is interesting. Russia is claiming that the target of a recent strike by Kinzhal hypersonic missiles on a military airfield in Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region, was the command bunker where the headquarters of foreign advisers was located.

 

I know we have military personnel over there. What I can't figure out is why or how no one is talking about this. Someone ALWAYS talks. Injuries would show up in Germany so what gives? You're telling me that Air Force personnel are that disciplined? That their version of a LCpl working in that hospital isn't whispering on some forum somewhere?

Note to all Military Public Affairs Officers. Sometimes less is more. The more you talk about this, the sketchier it sounds especially since the whole deal was supposed to be about getting your people back. Oh and that's coming from a SUPPORTER. More advice. Stop talking about this thing till you have your shit together in one neat basket. You can't afford to lose this public affairs war and you're behind the eight ball with many (some I would never suspect) already. Let me repeat. I wasn't there so I don't know. This continuously fascinates me...

It shouldn't though. I know for a fact we have skinheads, kkk'ers, nazis etc...in our own ranks serving along side other races...some you would never suspect. To be honest I didn't think ANY black people even existed in Russia. I wonder how he gets along with the Wagner boys. Could be that an enemy of my enemy is a friend situation. Anyone know what that pod is underneath? I didn't know (and I'm assuming here) that any of these were modded for intel. What does the pod "sense"?  Additionally I'm assuming the bubble on top is for satcoms, right?
